Continuing with this week’s theme of “blogging your block”, I wanted to share this sculpture entitled “Dance Rhythms” that I stumbled across in the town center last year. This 7-foot bronze statue of a mother and daughter dancing was created by Chaim Gross in 1966 and donated to our town in 2012. It’s in a section of the town where I don’t really get to much, and I thought it was really lovely to have this on public display here.
Here’s what I also shared yesterday around my block.

That is a delightful image, that you have captured for us from two different perspectives. What a great way to start the day seeing–thank you!

Thanks! It’s a really nice sculpture. I hope others in the town appreciate it too.

Excellent! I love to photograph sculptures. Since they don’t move, you can capture them from lots of different angles. 🙂

I know, right? I see some monuments on the way to work and I’d love to stop and take some pictures too but time is always against me. But I’m still planning to 🙂
