Authorities in Kazakhstan have detained several women protesting against a ban on lace underwear. This is in response to a 2011 regulation now being enforced banning the production, sale, and importation of lace underwear in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus by July 2014.
That’s certainly not news you see or hear everyday, and I’m only too happy to share it. More power to you ladies! I’m all for government regulation, but this is a step too far. It really should be a personal choice.
